About the course
Aim
Efter avslutad kurs ska den studerande kunna
- redogöra för teorier om språkinlärning och språkutveckling hos flerspråkiga elever
- diskutera språklig variation och kulturella drag i relation till flerspråkighet
- diskutera hur språklig variation kan påverka undervisning i modersmål
- reflektera över didaktiska val i modersmålsundervisningen som stimulerar elevens språkutveckling.
Content
Kursen behandlar flerspråkighet där teorier om inlärning och utveckling av modersmål och andraspråk presenteras och diskuteras. Språklig variation och elevers olika bakgrund diskuteras utifrån ett didaktiskt perspektiv i modersmålsundervisningen. Betydelsen av kunskaper i modersmålet för utveckling av ett andraspråk behandlas utifrån aktuell forskning. Didaktiska metoder i modersmålsundervisningen som gynnar elevers språkutveckling presenteras och diskuteras.
