About the course
Aim
On completetion of the course, the student will be able to
- express him/herself in and through different artistic expressions and aesthetic subjects
- explain what charachterizes different artistic expressions and aesthetic subjects
- discuss the difference between learning in and learning through an artistic expression
- analyze and discuss how artistic methods can be used in education.
Content
The course has both an artistic and a didactic perspective and is based on a holistic view of humanity where communication through various artistic expressions is stressed. The course deals with artistic and aesthetic expressions in theory and practice and ends by a group work where the students perform and explain how artistic methods can be used in education.
Concepts that are highlighted in the course are artistic methods, creativity, sustainability and didactics.
