About the course
Aim
Efter avslutad kurs ska den studerande kunna
- redogöra för och diskutera litteracitet ur ett flerspråkighetsperspektiv
- diskutera faktorer, såsom läs- och skrivsvårigheter, som kan påverka litteracitetsutveckling på ett första- och andraspråk
- diskutera och problematisera litteracitetsutveckling hos andraspråksinlärare som inte har tidigare erfarenhet och kunskap i läsning och skrivande
- diskutera undervisningssituationer i litteracitet i det flerspråkiga klassrummet.
Content
Kursen tar upp flerspråkigas litteracitetsutveckling ur såväl individ-, utbildnings-, som samhällsperspektiv. Användning av litteracitet på första- och andraspråket diskuteras liksom eventuella hinder för utveckling av läs- och skrivförmågan. Lärares didaktiska överväganden diskuteras i relation till elevers tidigare kunskap och erfarenheter av litteracitet. Litteracitetsutvecklande undervisning av elever i olika åldrar och på olika nivåer i sin litteracitetsutveckling problematiseras i relation till de krav som ställs på litteracitet i vårt samhälle.
