About the course
Aim
Efter avslutad kurs skall den studerande kunna
- redogöra för sociologiska och antropologiska perspektiv på barns och ungdomars erfarenheter
- använda teoretiska kunskaper om barn och unga ur ett barndomssociologiskt perspektiv
- beskriva barns och ungas olika livsvillkor utifrån aspekter av till exempel etnicitet, genus, funktionshinder och social utsatthet
- demonstrera metodkunskaper och ett reflexivt förhållningssätt i att arbeta eller bedriva forskning med barn- och ungdomsperspektiv
Content
Kursen lyfter fram barn och unga som samhällsaktörer och behandlar barns och ungdomars samtida liv i Sverige. Speciell vikt kommer att läggas vid att de studerande skall utveckla sin förmåga att lyssna till barns och ungdomars röst i arbete eller forskning med barn och unga. Barns och ungas olika förutsättningar belyses, med speciell vikt på till exempel genus, etnicitet, funktionshinder och social utsatthet.
