About the course
Aim
After the course, the student is expected to be able to
- Use Python libraries for engineering computations.
- Implement in Python simple algorithms for signal processing and related applications.
- Implement and evaluate Monte Carlo simulations of simple engineering algorithms.
- Generate with the aid of Python and other software professional graphics and plots and integrate them into documents.
Content
- Signal processing of audio signals, including linear combinations, mixing, demixing, and two-channel audio handling.
- Algorithms based on linear algebra and sparse structures, with applications within group testing and data compression.
- Monte Carlo simulations of performance.
- Generation of professional plots and integration of them into technical reports.
