About the course
Aim
The course provides knowledge of how computers function and are programmed at the lowest level. Through a project in the course, participants will design and develop a computer construction using a hardware description language. The project is carried out in groups with other students, emphasizing collaboration and communication.
Upon completing the course, the technologist should be able to:
- explain the basic components of a computer system
- plan and develop a computer construction
- collaborate and contribute to work within a project group
- present project results both in writing and orally
