About the course
Aim
After completing the course, the student should be able to:
- create simpler arrangements for digital design and production coordination
- describe different methods for collecting digital data
- apply BIM in a VDC concept
- implement simpler applications with BIM for time planning.
- report the relationship between process, terminology and data models
Content
The course deals with BIM and the broader concept of virtual construction with the projector's perspective. During the course, the student becomes aware of how BIM affects the design work and also insight into its impact on construction. The student also gains insight into the information delivery between different actors in the construction process and the requirements for the same.
Use and develop CAD tools for building information modeling. During the course, computer tools that are common in the industry are used.
