About the course
Aim
After completing the course, the student should be able to:
- describe and partly applyselected parts ofwork environment law relatedto constructionsites andadjacent environments.
- plan and analyse systematic work environment management.
- describe andpartly apply basiccontract law andstandard contracts relevantto theconstruction sector.
Content
The course deals with the parts of the legal system that affect construction activities from a contractor's perspective, e.g. the Work Environment Act, the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations, general contract law, standard contract law. This includes worker health and safety from both a physical and psychosocial point of view.
