About the course
Aim
Efter avslutad kurs ska den studerande kunna:
- Identifiera och använda ord och begrepp, skriftligt och muntligt, som är relevanta för studier och kommande arbetsliv i skolan
- Formulera sig, skriftligt och muntligt, på ett förståeligt sätt om kunskapsområden som är centrala för studier och lärares arbete i skolan
- Resonera kring sin egen språkliga kompetensutveckling i relation till fortsatta studier och kommande arbetsliv i skolan.
Content
I denna kurs är det svenska språket som verktyg i fokus, både språket som verktyg för högskolestudier och det språk som kommer att krävas i studentens kommande arbete som lärare i skolan. I kursen identifierar studenten ord och begrepp som är användbara både för studier och för lärares arbete i skolan. Studenten identifierar väsentliga begrepp och förklarar dessa, både muntligt och skriftligt, i sitt sammanhang. Centralt i kursen är dessutom att utveckla kunskap om att kunna uttrycka sig om kunskapsområden som förekommer i högskolestudier och i lärares arbete i skolan. Därför bearbetar studenterna betydelsefulla kunskapsområden både genom skriftligt och muntlig framställning. Studenten resonerar slutligen kring sin egen språkliga kompetensutveckling i förhållande till sina fortsatta studier och kommande arbetsliv i skolan.
