About the course
Aim
Efter avslutad kurs ska den studerande kunna
- redogöra för estetik och estetiska lärprocesser som teoretiska begrepp
- redogöra för estetik som mål och medel för barns lärande
- använda verktyg och material inom skapande verksamhet
- använda skapande verksamhet som redskap för barns utveckling och lärande i förskolan
- diskutera barns lärande i, om, med och genom estetiska praktiker
- diskutera skapande verksamhet för att främja barns utveckling och lärande utifrån ett likvärdighetsperspektiv.
Content
Kursen innehåller teoretiska och praktiska moment med fokus på estetiska lärprocesser, olika uttrycksformer samt barns aktiva skapande. Estetik och estetiska praktiker introduceras samt relateras till forskning. I kursen behandlas hur barn lär, interagerar, experimenterar och utvecklas i, om, med och genom olika estetiska praktiker. Olika perspektiv på skapande i pedagogiska kontexter tas upp. Centralt är utforskande arbete inom olika estetiska praktiker i relation till barns lärande och utveckling. Olika faktorer som kan påverka likvärdigheten i förutsättningar för barns lärande (såsom ålder, etnicitet, genus och klass) belyses i förhållande till den skapande verksamheten.
