About the course
Aim
Efter avslutad kurs ska den studerande kunna
- redogöra för undervisningsämnets (svenska som andraspråk) historik samt diskutera dess innehåll och struktur i förhållande till aktuella styrdokument
- redogöra för teoretiska utgångspunkter för organisering, planering och genomförande av undervisning av flerspråkiga/andraspråkselever
- redogöra för och tillämpa teorier om språkutvecklande arbetssätt och flerspråkighet som resurs
- diskutera lärarens didaktiska överväganden vid planering av språkutvecklande undervisningsmoment.
Content
Kursen ger en orientering om historik i undervisningsämnet svenska som andraspråk. Kursen behandlar organisering och genomförande av andraspråksundervisning för inlärare i olika åldrar utifrån teorier om språkutveckling och i förhållande till gällande styrdokument och praxis. Kursen fokuserar på organisatoriska faktorer såsom inkludering liksom didaktiska frågor som planering av undervisning som kan gynna flerspråkiga individers språkutveckling och flerspråkig användning i klassrummet.
