About the course
Aim
Efter avslutad kurs ska den studerande kunna
- analysera Bergspredikans resonemang mot bakgrund av dess historiska, kulturella och litterära kontext,
- ge exempel på och sammanfatta teologiska huvudlinjer i Bergspredikan,
- relatera bibeltexter till centrala tvistefrågor i Bergspredikans tolkningshistoria, och
- kritiskt diskutera tolkningar av Bergspredikan.
Content
Kursen ger en introduktion till Bergspredikan och dess tillkomst, historiska bakgrund, genre, litterära kontext, innehåll och syften. Detta grundläggande studium fokuserar på den moraliska vision som Bergspredikan målar upp och innefattar en fördjupning i teologiska termer och teman som lycka, Himmelriket och rättfärdighet. Bergspredikan är en bibeltext som har haft stort inflytande i den kristna kyrkans historia och det betyder att det finns många sätt att tolka detta textavsnitt. Kursen ger en orientering i olika tolkningstraditioner. En del av kursen är att kritiskt diskutera sådana tolkningar.
