Aim

On completion of the course, the student should on an advanced way be able to - formulate an issue in the field of history of religion or anthropology of religion and, with a scientific approach, examine it by means of the theory and method traditions of the discipline, - retrieve and interpret relevant data and texts, and in the form of academic work, present the results - critically discuss and assess work within the subject area - analyse chosen speciality within history of religion or anthropology of religion.

From the theory and method traditions of the discipline, the course includes independent studies of a problem in history of religion or anthropology of religion by means of current research literature.
