About the course
Aim
Efter avslutad kurs ska den studerande kunna:
- utifrån kliniska grupper analysera olika frågeställningar i relation till det biopsykosociala synsättet
- motivera lämpliga interventioner och preventioner lämpliga för olika kliniska grupper
- reflektera kring, integrera och kritiskt granska centrala begrepp, aktuella forskningsfrågor och etiska principer inom området funktionsnedsättning och samhälle
- presentera och diskutera ett problemområde inom funktionsnedsättning och samhälle i samråd med olika grupper
- planera och genomföra en undersökning, analysera data och förmedla resultat i ett vetenskapligt arbete inom området funktionsnedsättning och samhälle
- föra en vetenskaplig diskussion, kritiskt granska andras och försvara eget vetenskapligt arbete
Content
Kursen är uppdelad i tre delkurser:
Uppsatsförberedande, 7,5 hp
I delkursen fördjupas teoretiska kunskaper med relevans för problemställningar inom området funktionsnedsättning och samhälle. Formulering av syfte, forskningsfrågor och litteraturgranskning övas. I delkursen behandlas sammanställning av vetenskapliga artiklar som underlag för redogörelse av forskningsläget inom delområden av funktionsnedsättning och samhälle. Inom delkursen behandlas även etiska aspekter av relevans för forskning kring personer med funktionsnedsättning.
Vetenskaplig metod, 7,5 hp
Inom delkursen fördjupas metodologiska kunskaper avseende så väl kvalitativa som kvantitativa designer. Metoder för insamling, bearbetning, analys och tolkning av data behandlas.
Uppsats, 15 hp
Inom ramen för kursen tillämpas fördjupade metodologiska och teoretiska kunskaper i ett självständigt uppsatsarbete inom funktionsnedsättning och samhälle. I kursen ingår även kritisk granskning av andras texter.
