Internship in Environmental Science

Aim

After completion of the course, the student should at an advanced level be able to

• independently prioritize, and evaluate information to perform a specific analytical assignment within Environmental Science
• systematically analyse, process and evaluate data in the analytical assignment and relate the analyse to relevant research
• communicate the process and results of the analytical assignment in writing

Content

The course is conducted as an individual internship at an external organization within the field of Environmental Science with focus to perform a relevant analytical assignment. The contact person at the external organization should design the assignment, in communication with the student, and support the student during the internship. The course supervisor must approve the assignment before the student commences the course.
