About the course

Aim

Efter avslutad kurs ska den studerande kunna:

redogöra för klassisk och modern organisationsteori
redogöra för utveckling och genomförande av organisering och ledning på olika nivåer i socialt arbete
redogöra för betydelsen av samspel och interaktion inom och mellan olika organisationer
problematisera och analysera organisatoriska strukturer, verksamhetskulturer och processer inom verksamheter i socialt arbete
redogöra för budget och budgetprocesser och dess koppling till ekonomiska styrsystem
problematisera och värdera olika förhållningssätt och strategier i socialt förändrings- och utvecklingsarbete.

Content

I kursen belyses klassisk och modern organisationsteori samt ledarskapsteorier i relation till socialt arbete. Kursen inriktas mot kritisk granskning och analys av organisering och ledning av socialt arbete ur olika perspektiv såsom mångfalds-, medarbetar- och brukarperspektiv. Ledningsstrategier i politiskt styrda organisationer behandlas. Olika teorier om utvecklings- och förändringsarbete studeras i relation till förhållningssätt och strategier för förändring och utveckling i social verksamhet. I kursen tränas färdigheter för organisering och ledning på olika nivåer i verksamheter i socialt arbete.
