About the course

Aim

Efter avslutad kurs ska den studerande kunna:

identifiera, förklara och tillämpa grunderna i den klassiska och moderna retoriken för analys av yrkesrelaterad kommunikation
reflektera över hur samtalstekniker och retoriska verktyg kan användas för att lyssna och leda i samtal och yrkesrelaterad kommunikation
informera och argumentera muntligen och skriftligen enligt givna retoriska, yrkesspecifika och språkliga förutsättningar
kritiskt granska sin egen och andras tillämpning av retoriska verktyg

Content

I kursen behandlas retorikens teori och retorisk analys utifrån begreppen ethos, pathos och logos. I kursen ingår även praktiska retoriska verktyg som att hantera disposition, storytelling, stilfigurer, kroppsspråk och röst. Perspektiv som anläggs är kopplade till kommunikation i yrkeslivet, t.ex. sändare och mottagare, yrkesspråk, dialog- och samtalstekniker, härskar- och bekräftelsetekniker samt att ge och ta kritik.
