Aim
Efter avslutad kurs ska den studerande kunna:
- redogöra för vanliga statistiska inferensmetoder och sannolikhetsmodeller
- kritiskt analysera kvaliten hos data
- motivera val av statistisk metod med avseende på data
- kritiskt tolka resultat av statistiska analyser
- i skrift beskriva inhämtade data och förklara statistiska analyser
- genomföra uppgifter inom givna tidsramar
Content
I kursen behandlas:
- modeller för deskriptiv statistik
- sökning och presentation av information i nationella databaser
- sannolikhetsmodeller för en och flera slumpvariabler
- inferens: statistisk slutledning med signifikansprövning och intervallskattning
