Content
Moral Philosophy, 7.5 HE credits This module covers central work and theories of the moral-philosophical discussion of the 20th century. The studies focus on both value-theoretical questions and questions that concern normative ethical systems, mainly consequentialism. Classics of Practical Philosophy, 7.5 HE credits This module comprises in-depth studies of a central classical moral-philosophical work with support from qualified commentators. Social Philosophy, 7.5 HE credits In this module, the students should become familiar with positions and theories, mainly concerning social justice, that have been central to the discussion from the middle of the 20th century. Elective Specialisation, 7.5 HE credits In this module, the students focus on one of the practical philosophy fields outside moral philosophy. The studies may have the same specialisation as in the basic course in practical philosophy and thereby provide an opportunity for more in-depth studies of a field. Or, another specialisation can be chosen, to provide the student an opportunity to gain more broad knowledge. Information about the current choices are given before each course date.
