Aim
After completion of the course, the student should be able to - describe and discuss the similarities and differences in Swedish and German cultural life - discuss and compare the different genres of German and Swedish literature - discuss and compare Swedish and German views on welfare regard to social structure , political system and education system.
Content
Lectures and seminars in German about Swedish society and culture, focusing on:- cultural differences between Sweden and the German-speaking area- social structures and the political system- the welfare state- history- literature- educational system
