About the course
Aim
Efter avslutad kurs ska den studerande kunna:
- producera språkligt korrekt engelska med hänsyn tagen till grammatiska strukturer och ett grundläggande formellt och akademiskt engelskt ordförråd
- analysera och identifiera vanliga grammatiska skillnader mellan engelska och svenska
- rätta samt på ett pedagogiskt sätt förklara vanliga grammatiska fel hos svenska inlärare på olika nivåer
- diskutera, på korrekt engelska, kontrastiva skillnader och problem mellan engelska och svenska
- didaktiskt och pedagogiskt diskutera kontrastiva moment i relation till tänkt språkundervisning i Sverige
Content
I kursen behandlas språkliga skillnader mellan svenska och engelska systematiskt, framförallt de grammatiska skillnaderna. I kursen övas språklig förmåga att identifiera, analysera och på ett pedagogiskt fungerande sätt förklara dessa skillnader för elever i svenska skolan. I kursen uppmärksammas metoder och arbetsformer för språkinlärning, med särskilt fokus på den kontrastiva kompetensen.
