About the course
Aim
Efter avslutad kurs ska den studerande kunna:
- redogöra för grundläggande begrepp och teorier inom interkulturella studier och interkulturell kommunikation
- förklara centrala företeelser i ostasiatiskt tänkande och idéhistoria
- redogöra för huvuddragen i Japans kultur och språk
- analysera likheter och skillnader i kulturella uttryck och beteendemönster
Content
I kursen behandlas Ostasiens kultur, tänkande och språk, med särskilt fokus på Japan. Kursen behandlar även grundläggande teorier om interkulturella studier och interkulturella kommunikation.
Utöver detta behandlar kursen också kultur och språk i Japan och dess närområde, inklusive grundläggande kunskaper om viktiga kulturella företeelser, beteendemässiga mönster och språk.
