About the course
Aim
The aim of the course is to understand energy engineering processes, the focus is technical function and dimensioning of components. After the course, the student should be able to:
- Explain the basic technical function of energy engineering processes/cycles.
- Compare different energy-producing technologies from sustainability aspects according to (Agenda 2030).
- Perform calculations on the dimensioning of energy engineering processes.
- Choose suitable measuring modalities for energy quantities and planning, carrying out, analyzing and reporting measurements of such quantities.
Content
Gas turbines, water turbines, wind turbines, cooling, steam power, heat exchangers, introduction of measurement of energy engineering variables.
