About the course

Aim

The aim of the course is that the students should get an overview of information technology, and to introduce pedagogical methods used during the studies. After the course the student will be able to:

  • apply knowledge and skills from other courses in the study programme in the development and analysis of an existing, technical system
  • devise a plan for your own work within the scope of a project
  • reflect on your need for further competence in the short and long term
  • independently form a technical report according to principles for scientific texts
  • orally present a simpler technical project work
  • reflect on their own study technique and study ability
  • independently and in groups, identify learning needs in relation to given problems related to the term's courses
  • collaborate with colleagues in both learning and problem solving, as well as lead technical problem solving situations linked to the term's areas
  • contribute to discussion and results in a base group
