About the course

Aim

Efter avslutad kurs ska den studerande på avancerad nivå kunna:

beskriva och problematisera olika kunskapsformer samt hur dessa har utvecklats och använts i socialt arbete
analysera och värdera metoder för systematisk uppföljning och utvärdering av sociala insatser
problematisera samt kritiskt reflektera över kvalitetsbegreppets relevans för socialt arbete ur brukar-, personal-, lednings- och medborgarperspektiv
reflektera över det egna professionella förhållningssättet till kunskapsanvändning i det sociala arbetets praktiker

Content

Under kursen behandlas olika former av kunskap och hur dessa utvecklats och använts inom det sociala arbetets praktiker. Kunskapsutveckling problematiseras på ett fördjupat sätt med fokus på konsekvenser för brukare, professionella och verksamheter inom socialt arbete. Utmaningar och möjligheter vid möten mellan praktisk och teoretisk kunskap berörs ingående i kursen.

Inom kursen diskuteras och problematiseras även kvalitetsarbete med särskilt fokus på användningen av metoder och verktyg för uppföljning och utvärdering, exempelvis i form av mätning av kvalitet och bemötande. Inom kursen ryms dessutom färdighetsträningar i systematisk uppföljning och utvärdering av sociala insatser på individ- och verksamhetsnivå, samt deltagardemokratiska metoder. Vidare fördjupas kunskaper om den egna professionella utvecklingen med särskilt fokus på förutsättningar för ett kunskapsbaserat och hållbart socialt arbete.
