About the course
Aim
Efter avslutad kurs ska den studerande på en avancerad nivå kunna:
- redogöra för, analysera och kritiskt reflektera kring centrala begrepp, teoretiska perspektiv och empiriska fynd rörande kognitiva, socio-emotionella och neuropsykiatriska avvikelser i relation till utvecklingspsykologiska processer
- redogöra för, analysera och kritiskt reflektera kring hur olika faktorer inverkar på kognitiva, socio-emotionella och neuropsykiatriska avvikelser i relation till utvecklingspsykologiska processer
- kritiskt reflektera kring och problematisera begreppen normalitet och avvikelse utifrån utvecklingspsykologiska processer och pedagogiska tillämpningar
Content
I kursen behandlas utvecklingspsykopatologi på en fördjupad nivå med utgångspunkt från normalitet och avvikelse. Kursen ger en fördjupning om hur t.ex. ålder, genus, etnicitet, socio-ekonomiska förhållanden, kultur och historisk tid inverkar på kognitiva, socio-emotionella, och neuropsykiatriska avvikelser i förhållande till utvecklingspsykologisk utveckling. Kursen berör även pedagogiska aspekter i förhållande till avvikelse och normalitet.
